We cordially invite you to the only screening of the documentary film "Zaginione Urzecze" during the Millennium Docs Against Gravity Festival. It is on September 11, at 4.15 p.m. in Warsaw's Kinoteka. InfoCredit is the patron of the first document about Urzecze, the Vistula land that stretched between the former estuaries of the Pilica and Wilga, and Siekierki and Saska Kepa.

In Urzecze they managed, among others Olęders, agricultural innovators who in the 17th century came from Friesland and the Netherlands to the area of today's Saska Kępa in Warsaw. They used the fertile rugs applied by the Vistula River during the flood and achieved record crops. Urzecze was the granary of Warsaw, and from there the building blocks of sand, gravel and stones also flowed to the capital.

Today, the Olęders on the Vistula River are no more. They disappeared just before the end of World War II. However, we can still recall their history and contribution to the development of Warsaw and the region. The filmmakers, Adam Rogala and Wiktor Strumiłło, brought her closer to us.

As a patron of the film, we cordially invite our clients to this unique show. Please apply now - due to the great interest in the Festival, the number of places is limited.

The filmmakers, together with the Wawer District, are planning further screenings in September (open-air, in the Plaza Romantyczna complex and in October (in the Wawer Cultural Center room. We will inform you about the dates soon).
